Hello, and thanks for taking the time to learn a little more about us.
I am a Yale-trained, board certified pediatrician and have been in practice since 1997. After receiving my M.D. from New York Medical College, I completed my residency in pediatrics at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. Following Yale days, I spent eight years in private practice in suburban New York. In 2005, I joined the medical community of Danbury. During my career, I have also enjoyed being a guest speaker at parenting groups, having spots on national radio, and appearing on “The Today Show” to discuss health, the healthcare industry, and international adoption.
RTR Pediatrics originally opened its doors in 2012 on West Street to provide affordable care for children who lacked health insurance. Over time, many asked if we took their respective insurance plans. In response, I became a participant of various health insurance plans. If your child does not have health insurance, we can still assist you. Due to marked growth, we moved across town to our current, larger office in 2015. We love the new location, and hope you will too.
A few words about my team, of whom I so proud. I so appreciate the great feedback I receive from our patients and families about my team. Most of our team members are close to, or have already received their bachelor degrees, and are on their way to careers in healthcare. It has been, and continues to be, an honor to mentor and work alongside such bright and enthusiastic future healthcare professionals.
Last, in a time when the rate of physician burnout can be high, I still love the practice of medicine, and feel honored to take care of people’s precious little – or not so little – ones. A writer at heart, I authored, “CRIB TO COLLEGE – A Parents’ (Or Anyone’s!) Crash Course in Pediatrics”, available on Amazon. TAP HERE to see Dr. Paulhus’ book on Amazon.com
Thanks for your interest. Hope to see you soon!
