Greetings from RTR Pediatrics!  We hope you had a safe, fun, and healthy summer.

In the coming months, the flu season will be here.  We have plenty of flu shots here at RTR Pediatrics, and welcome you to come in for your shot.  It is not too early to get one.  You do not have to be regular patient at our office to get a flu shot.  Whether for the flu shot or other medical need, you are welcome to use our services once, sometimes, or always.  We participate in HUSKY, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Connecticare, and United Health Care.

Give us a shout if you have any questions.  And, please be sure to get your flu shot soon!

Hard to believe that another summer is coming to a close already.  With the return to school, there is a return to being in more closed quarters, and that means a greater risk of getting sick.

Parents, be sure to keep hand sanitizer in your child’s backpack or school bags, and remind your children to wash their hands with soap and water as often as possible during the school day and when they get home too.  These simple, basic practices have made a world of difference in keeping us all healthier.

Hello, Danbury and surrounding communities. Thanks for your interest in RTR Pediatrics.  I wish to emphasize that our doors are open to all; there is no one particular group or type of patients on whom we focus outreach. I thank all who have entrusted the care of your children to us.

Hello from RTR Pediatrics!  We have met so many wonderful families since we opened our doors.  Thank you for your confidence in us!   You will be seeing a little more of us “in print” around town.  Look for our placemat ads in Elmer’s Diner at 22 Padanaram Road in Danbury, Three Brothers Diner at 242 White Street in Danbury, and the Windmill Diner at 14 Mill Plain Road in Danbury.  You will soon see our ad on the community boards at the Brookfield YMCA, the Bethel YMCA, and the Danbury YMCA.  Dr. Paulhus was recently interviewed by The News Times, so be on the lookout for something soon. We love to hear how you found us.  Mostly, our patients come by word of mouth, and we greatly appreciate this.  Some are  referred to us by Dr. Paulhus’ colleagues at Danbury Hospital or in the community, and some find RTR Pediatrics by Googling.  But, however you find us, we hope you will find us welcoming and helpful and want to come back.  Happy May to all, and hope to see you soon!

No appointment is necessary, but if you’d like one, just let us know.
